Can yeast infections cause weight gain?

I have been struggling with yeast infections for about 5 years during this time I have gained a significant amount of weight. I am fighting to keep from gaining anymore weight. I have been asking my doctor about Candida, with no real answer on what exactly it is. Could someone tell me. I honestly eat fairly healthy and try to stay active. I have stopped seeing my OBGYN doctor because I was quite offended when she told me I needed to lay off the fast food and lose weight. I have not found a doctor yet that I like. If I go to a family doctor would they be able to help me figure out what is going on with me. It is tiring and uncomfortable having yeast infections 6-8 months out of the year, sometimes multiple infections a month. But my real question is could my yeast infections have anything to do with my weight gain?

I also have alopecia (sp?) and have had that since about third grade. I would say the most important thing for you to do is see a doctor. I will probably be a hell of an awkward conversation with your mom ( I would know, I'm 14 too and have had my fair share of awkward conversations with her) but it could be serious, especially if its been going on for so long. If you go to the doctor, you can request a female to examine you. Also I know this sounds weird, but when I get itchy down there, I sleep for a night without underwear on (just light loose shorts.) It will make you feel a lot better and hopefully relieve your itching. Also peeing on stick is only done for pregnancy tests. If anything they will have you pee in a cup or examine you. It will probably be uncomfortable if they examine you, but they do it all the time so they couldn't care less. Also its not like they're ever gonna see you again...

From what you are saying, it sounds like it could be the milk. Maybe you could just try avoiding milk/cheese for a few weeks until you get the testing done. If the yogurt doesn't seem to bother, then continue with that so they still get some dairy/calcium. I know if I eat too much dairy (namely cheese), I get constipated, too LOL. That is a common intolerance for many people, though. Yogurt may be better tolerated, too because of the probiotics in it.

I have been experiencing pains in my abdomen both after eating and randomly for months. Any thoughts?

The Sunday before Thanksgiving (2010) after eating out at Applesbees I had horrible stomach pains, after that my world was upside down. I wasn't able to eat anything of real substance without terrible pain on my right upper side of my abdomen and the pain would shoot through to my back. It felt like someone was stabbing me. I had other symptoms including nausea, light headedness and a heavy chest feeling (which I was told was heartburn, I had never experienced it before.) I also would get pain in my lower right abdomen. I also have been constipated on and off but it seems to be regulated now. After about a week of pain I went to the Emergency Care Center (ER alternative) and the doctor thought it was my gallbladder and I should see my doctor. I didn't have a primary care doctor so over the next 3 weeks I was trying to find someone taking patients. Finally I got one! I went to the doctors and he sent me to get an ultrasound, blood work, and x-rays and the results had nothing to tell me. Not my gall bladder and liver was healthy. The pain continued so I sought out alternative medicine. I saw an iridologist who said I had a bacterial infection. After a limited diet of no white flour, no white sugar, no dairy and a variety of vitamins for intestinal and gall bladder support, still no help. Upon my second visit to the iridologist he put me on a very strict diet called the candida diet (you can google it to read more) but basically you are restricted from anything that will encourage yeast growth including wheat, fruit (except berries), dairy (but plain pro-biotic yogurt is ok), white sugar, honey, or any processed/refined sweetener, vinegar, etc. Basically you eat really really healthy and its hard. While on the candida diet, I went to a chiropractor who said my lower back was compressed and my right hip was shifted and not aligned. I saw her twice a week for 3 weeks and I started to feel better. I still had random pains in my abdomen but not as often or as severe. Two days ago I ended the candida diet and I started eating like a normal person. Yesterday I ate, plain yogurt with berries, french onion soup with a grilled cheese on wheat bread, and I started not feeling well (really bad heartburn, I think it was anyway) so I made beef stew with biscuits, both were gluten free. This morning I had yogurt again and a slice of whole grain bread with almond butter and I already feel awful. No stomach pains really but really bad chest pains, the heart burn feeling. I took some Pepcid AC but it doesn't seem to be helping yet. Does anyone have any ideas???? I am up for trying anything!!! I just want to feel good again. I thought maybe I have a sensitivity to wheat but from what I read that doesn't sound correct. Please help!!!

I mean, to me it makes sense. Rye flour, yeast, and water. Maybe a little salt. I figure that the least amount of ingredients would mean a healthier bread overall. That's really healthy, but it doesn't look like a lot. At least your breakfast doesn't. You'll most likely be very hungry pretty quickly after breakfast. If you can stick to it and are only doing it for a short amount of time, then yes. If this is a long term diet, I think you're most likely going to end up really hungry one day and binge eat.

You need to get your hands on some stevia.I was on that diet once and stevia was allowed.But make sure it is real stevia and only stevia and not one of those new mixes that has dextrose in it.Then you could beat the egg with some stevia,add a pinch of both spices and a little vanilla then fry it in the butter and sprinkle some cocoa mixed with a little cinnamon on top.You could do the same without the stevia but it won't taste sweet at all.Good luck with the diet.It is well worth the effort.

I got a false negative diagnostic test for male yeast infection?

Hi everyone. Sorry I had to create a new account & re-post this question as something stuffed up with my old one. Well I am 17 and pregnant. The father of my child said he wanted me to get an abortion in the start & was really pushing me to get it. I told him it would never happen & that if I really can't keep my child I would put my baby up for adoption. He disagreed with adoption & was still pushing for abortion back then. Anyways now I know that I am definitely keeping my baby also I am too far along for an abortion so he stopped pressuring me about it. He is upset about it still but he was still by my side for a while but he hardly would talk to me or come over, until a few days ago I found out he has been cheating on me since I was pregnant. He admitted it & I have ended it with him & have told him he can see baby when he is born anytime he wants. The thing is I don't want my child to see him though. The father is the partying, show off type. He has an involvement with selling drugs but does not take them. & I just think he won't be a good father figure. I have a few problems that I have been dealing with for quite some time now and find myself exhausted with no results. I am 23 years old and have never struggled with acne until now having it for about 2 years. I also battle an eating disorder that comes and goes in waves. Recently I have lost weight due to being Gluten Free for health reasons and fear I have triggered it again. I was told by a nutritionist that I had Candida a few months ago but because of the ridiculous pricing I decided to try and cure myself by drastically changing my diet. I have been very healthy and exercise 3-5 times a week. I really started to feel better before I felt worse. I have mood swings constantly changing from days to minutes. I get nausea, fatigue, dizzy spells, nervousness, anxiety, brain fog, random boosts of energy and then crash, stomach problems and pains, and very emotional. Lately, it's been my mood where I have felt depressed for no reason. I have a great life with beautiful people around me but find there is something missing. My last gynecological exam my doctor gave me a prescription for Zoloft and said I may have Bi-Polar Disorder. I prefer not to take an anti-depressant altering my state of mind. I also don't think an OB/GYN has the credentials to diagnose me with Bi-Polar Disorder. I have switched to 13 different birth controls and find it just makes me crazy when I'm taking them. I recently was on the Depo Provera shot which was the worst of all. I have also had 2 bacterial infections the past few months. One in my stomach and the other vaginal. As you can see I have a wide variety of problems that I am exhausted from. I don't have any insurance and that's why I have been holding off. I am desperate for answers and help. Thanks!

My baby was breastfed for the first 2 weeks of life, but I had a very difficult birth and had a hard time feeding her, so I bought a hospital grade Medela pump, and began to exclusively pump from there. My baby is now 4 months old and I'm starting to lose my milk supply! I used to pump a good 8 oz every 4 hours, now i'm pumping every single hour and a half for about 20 minutes (pumping both at a time) and when it comes time for her to eat, i'm always almost always half ounce short (she eats 4oz), or sometimes worse. I had to give her 2 oz of formula a few days ago because I simply was not making the milk. I was told by a nurse to try breastfeeding, so I have been trying for about a week, but my baby is just not having any of it. She cries every time. So I bought a nipple shield hoping it would be a bit more like the bottle, and she cries less with that, but still isn't interested. Why isn't my mucocitus getting better?

I am in the hospital doing a stem cell transplant and i'm already transplant day +14. I am doing an auto stem cell transplant and my white blood cells are up to 10,000. when I was 15 to 16 for about 6-7 months I got really down after one night i woke up and my ears were ringing and i stressed out about it, I never tried to commit suicide or any of that just got really down it was between the months of december to june-july but then slowly went away, by the way i still have the ringing, for a little more than two years it was gone, now im 18 and in college ive moved twice which is kind of stressfull, along with school and stress, then I got these bumps on my penis and my stomach and stressed like crazy thinking they were stds and one night i had what i think was a panic attack then the next morning i was down again, so i tried to figure out what was causeing it so i went to the doctor and said that i thought it was anxiety and they told me it wasnt so i noticed my tougue was white and thought i might have thrush a candida dieses which causes these things so i got meds for it fluconazole and nystatin and it made me feel better but it turns out i didn't have thrush just had a white tougue so i thought the meds just made me think i was better. so i told the doctor about the bumps and he said they were molluscum contagiosum but he wanted to test me for stds including hiv so i did a blood test for a list of like 20 different things and all came back negative, so he gave me meds for the molluscum and i feel fine all day long until about 5-7 in the afternoon then goes away after an hour or two and i feel fine its been going on now for about a month and two weeks but seems to be going away, could this be depression, ocd, anxiety, or could i just have been stressing alot both times and thought to much? *please don't tell me to see a doctor don't comment if your going to say that cause I already have been to the doctor, thanks!

Also, you're missing Magician's Circle which is very useful in a spellcaster deck. Plus, Magicians Unite powers up one of your spellcasters to 3000 ATK, but the drawback is that your other spellcasters can't attack and you need 2 face-up attack position spellcasters.

i read how wine is made and tried making wine with coconut juice. i know it sounds a bit odd since most people make it from grapes and similar fruit, but i have a lot of coconuts and often the price of copra falls to nothing in the Philippines causing me to seek other uses for the coconuts. i wonder if wine made from coconut can be certain to be safe. i know making wine from coconut tree sap results in good tasting wine but there is a natural yeast in the sap that can turn toxic. using the juice from the coconut should avoid this and requires a substitute yeast. i used baker yeast. is there a major difference that can make it unsafe or is it simply cheaper than wine yeast? the wine smells like good wine but i have never tried it, even though i made the first batch 2 years ago. after two years it has become crystal clear and no sediment left, is orange in color and smells like normal grape wine. is the alcohol content a guarantee of safety from bacteria. since coconut oil kills bad yeasts like candida and such i thought initially it would be fairly safe to try, but had no idea if it would work. Then i successfully made it, but was afraid to drink it. I'm planning to get an alcohol tester to determine how much alcohol is in it, i guess that's a start.

Delg is actually pretty useful since it removes cards from play from their Graveyard and sends 2 cards from their Deck to their Graveyard. My truck has a rattle and vibration any ideas?

I have a 99 Ram 1500 and I noticed when I take my foot off the gas there is a rattle sound when I slow down that sounds like an exhaust pipe bouncing or something similar. It sounds like its coming from about the center or front half of the truck. It's not the cat converter heat shield or any pipe its all brand new. Also when I go over 45 MPH there is a little vibration in the whole truck. the drive shafts still have their balance weights and the wheels are balanced. Could these problems be connected? I am using probiotics as well. I was on a support site for candida and with my symptoms I am told I have "mild candida". Well I took the prescription Wednesday and not seeing much improvement as far as the burning and itching. Through some search I found it can take up to a week (ugh) to see improvements (is that true?) My real question is can I have this Diflucan and use probiotics while introducing Oil of Oregano. Does the OoO cancel the other two out? Will monistat help? Need relief? My gut wants to just OoO along with that single dose of Diflucan but... wondering if I should lay the pprobiotics aside while I do? or is it worthwhile to do all three? yes, staples are neccesary. My philosophy on heroes: keep elemental heroes apart, keep destiny heroes apart, keep neo spacians with neos apart keep evill heroes mostly apart. If they all mix together, you end up with a huge, heroic, fusiony, effecty, contact fusion, evil mess. There are so many heroes out there, it is difficult to put them all into one deck effectively. If you stick with one sub-archetype (you could say), making a good deck is tons easier. then, you can add staples.
