Staphyloccus areus and Candida on my babys bottom!?

I would worry if any of my discharge was an irregular color,especially if your carrying a child.Discoloration and/or a foul odor are classic sighns of infection.Im not sure how educated you are so bare with me if you already know this,but Candida is a form of bacteria found naturally within a females system,However,if you develope to much bacteria it can become harmful and lead to the baby or youself becoming infected with somehing else such as BV(bacterial vaginiosis).Judging by the fact that your discharge was discolored its most likely a bacterial infection which would have been transfered to your child.A simple round of antibiotics for both of you should clear it up.If your not sure,see your gyno,they will be able to give you a test for it.if positive,the baby will most likely be put on the same antibiotics as you to prevent the two of you from giving back and forth to each other.Best of luck.
