Is it possible to make rye bread with only 3 ingredients?

I mean, to me it makes sense. Rye flour, yeast, and water. Maybe a little salt. I figure that the least amount of ingredients would mean a healthier bread overall. I have been searching the web for half an hour, but no results. People have made simple breads for thousands of years without vegetable oils, sugar, or refined white flour, why cant I? I just want to know if It would be possible to bake a bread with only these 3-4 ingredients. If you have any recipes, that would be awesome!
