Why did i just had candida in my penis 2 times in a row?

a little while ego like 2 moths i had candida on my penis i went to the doctor and he gave me some kind of thing to put on and clean it that actually help. 5 day it came back (could this be bad?) and i went to the doctor again he send me to do some blood and urine test could this also be a bad sing
